Harlequin Alchemy

Pumpkin Location:
Piccola Restaurant

Meet the Artist

In life and art, I’m pulled between the romantic and the technical and enjoy exploring the tension between what is shown and what lies hidden underneath. For many years I did this through theatre, and have recently returned to visual art as a way to express myself. I moved to Westchester in 2020 and am most grateful for the feeling of community.

Floral Abundance

Pumpkin Location:
Cedar & Main St

Meet the Artist

I am a Scarsdale based, self-taught artist working primarily in acrylic and oil. I grew up in India, surrounded by intense color, ornament, pattern, and handmade traditions that shaped the way I first understood visual expression. Later, living in Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and the United States expanded that visual vocabulary, giving me a broader sense of how culture, place, and memory can be expressed through color and form.

My work is especially influenced by the folk textiles and patchwork embroidery traditions of western India, where contrasting colors, repeated motifs, and dense decorative surfaces come together to create something joyful. I reinterpret that language through abstract and botanical forms, building compositions from circles, petals, dots, organic shapes, and layered patterns.
